I think the idea of visual
poetry is very interesting. I especially
like the idea that poetry is trying to adapt itself into the evolving
environment of technology. My favorite "poem" was by Kevin McPhearson Eckoff and was an image of a face made of words. Though I do not quite understand how the face
is directly related to a poem because a viewer cannot read it, it is visually intriguing. The concept of visual poetry itself is a bit
confusing. Some of the poems are so
interesting to look at, but I do not understand how they are full poems or how to read them. I feel like visual poetry is trying to make poems look thought provoking and unique rather than being written in a generic poem format.
